Mr. Wonil Chung, a lawyer at Chung & Partners and the chief editor of this website, received his B.A. in law(LL.B.) from Seoul National University (College of Law) and graduated from the Judicial Research and Training Institute of Supreme Court of South Korea. He also studied U.S. laws at University of California, Los Angeles, School of Law(LL.M). Prior to joining Chung & Partners, he worked as an attorney at Hwang Mok Park. P.C, one of the prestigious law firms in Korea. He has worked in diverse fields, with special emphasis on corporate financing and IP business. Wonil Chung also has extensive experience in advising and representing non-Korean clients on various issues involving Korean law such as Intellectual Property/Entertainment law, foreign investment, labor law, corporate law, family law and related civil/criminal litigation.
He is currently a member of the Korean Bar & Seoul Bar.
